Hilltownriders Q & A’s

 

1.      How do you join your club?  Print out the application and fill it out. Then send it to Hilltownriders P.O. Box 331 Duanesburg NY 12056 along with a copy of your insurance and check made out to Hilltownriders of $200.00. Then the membership will be voted into the club at the next meeting.

 

2.      How much is it to join?  It is $200.00 for the household per year and if you volunteer to help out on trail maintance and other working parties, you will receive a $100.00 discount the following year. This includes everyone living in the household.

 

3.      Do you do other events?  Yes, we attend other events such as the motorcross and trailrex, and other events occurring in the Capital Region to promote the club.

 

4.      Do you need your machine registered and insured?  NYS requires the ATV’s to be registered. Hilltownriders just verifies the insurance.

 

5.      Do you need to wear helmets?  Yes, helmets are required for all riders!

 

6.      How many trails do you have? There are 7 marked trails and more to come!

 

7.      How long are the trails? There is approximately 20miles of trails.

 

8.      How hard are the trails?  Trails are marked from easy to hard

 

9.      Can kid’s machines make it through the trails?  Yes, the children’s machines will be able to make it through the first two easy trails

 

10.  Is there lodging close by?  There is nice lodging off of I-90 in East Greenbush.

 

11.   What types of machines are allowed in your club? We include ATV’s, OHV. Dirt Bikes. UTV's or side by sides NO Snowmobiles.

 

12. Can I check out the trails before I join? Yes! Just give us a call and we can arrange to show you the trails to see if they are for you!

 

13. Where are your trails located? Our trails are located 20 miles east of Albany right off I-90. Our office is located in Duanesburg
